Write for us
We welcome thoughtful proposals about local cycling, from route reading and street design to wayfinding and the culture of everyday journeys. Send proposals through the Contact page.
What to pitch
A strong pitch names one clear subject, explains what a reader will understand or be able to consider afterwards, and shows why the topic suits Local Cycling Review. We are interested in specific ideas with a useful angle, not broad promises to cover cycling in general.
How to shape it
Tell us the proposed format, the main points you would cover and any sources or permissions the piece would require. Keep the idea self-contained and distinguish what you know from what you would need to verify. Do not send private or confidential information.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send a pitch. Include enough detail for us to assess the idea; a proposal is not a guarantee of publication. We cannot promise a response to every submission.
